Christian Education classes run from 10-10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings from the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday preceding Memorial Day in May. There are classes for everyone from age 2 through adults. Children under 2 years can spend time in the nursery while parents and older siblings attend class.
The curriculum for children aged 2 years-5th grade is SPARK, by Augsburg Fortress. It is bible based, and includes fun activities and takes home studies to share with parents!
The Junior High class is for students in 6th through 8th grades. The Senior High class is for students in 9th through 12th grades. These classes focus on the weekly lectionary. Students will study God's word, discuss how it speaks to them, and how they can apply it to their own lives. Group and individual projects round out this curriculum.
An infant and toddler nursery (children under 3) is available from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the 11:00 a.m. service. Sunday school classes for children 2 years - 5th grade meet on the first floor of the education building, while classes for students in the 6th - 12th grades meet upstairs. We are blessed to have a team of faithful, dedicated teachers guiding our children!
