The King's Counterpoint are very excited to be partnered with Old St Andrew's in their continuing ministry, and are honored to have been appointed 'Artists in Residence' at this wonderful, historic church!

Based in Charleston, The King’s Counterpoint is a professional vocal ensemble specializing in the performance of sacred and secular music from the Middle Ages through the modern era,

combining polyphony, literature, art and dialogue to create exceptional music – all presented within an historical context.

KCP appears on average three times a year in concert at Old St Andrew's, having presented programs that range from Handel's Messiah with members of the Charleston Symphony to their annual free Christmas Through the Ages concerts, and a variety of other wonderful concert events featuring choral music that spans the centuries. The King's Counterpoint often take part in our services by request and participate in special events, and their men's ensemble, Regis Homines, has become a regular fixture at the parish's August Evensong Service!
