The King's Counterpoint are very excited to be partnered with Old St Andrew's in their continuing ministry, and are honored to have been appointed 'Artists in Residence' at this wonderful, historic church!

Based in Charleston, The King’s Counterpoint is a professional vocal ensemble specializing in the performance of sacred and secular music from the Middle Ages through the modern era,

combining polyphony, literature, art and dialogue to create exceptional music – all presented within an historical context.

KCP appears on average three times a year in concert at Old St Andrew's, and over the past year they have performed Handel's Messiah with members of the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, have taken audiences on a Journey to Epiphany, performed their annual Christmas Through the Ages concert, and traced the history of Medieval and Renaissance Music. The King's Counterpoint often take part in our services by request, and they have become a regular feature at the Annual Graveyard Walk!

Additional information on the choir and their upcoming concerts can be found by visiting their website,  www.thekingscounterpoint.com
