WORSHIP & MUSIC

Old Saint Andrew's is pleased to offer several worship opportunities throughout the week. We hope you will join us for one of our upcoming services or special events!

SERVICE TIMES & DESCRIPTIONS

Each week we offer four worship services, all conducted according to the Book of Common Prayer (1979), but each with its own unique character.

SUNDAY 8:00am
HOLY EUCHARIST, RITE I (SPOKEN)

A traditional service without music, for our early risers! Worship concludes around 8:45. Coffee and pastries are served in Gilchrist Hall afterwards. Nursery care is not available during this service.

SUNDAY 9:00am
HOLY EUCHARIST, FAMILY SERVICE

This is our family service (which simply means that it’s where you’ll find most of the children!), featuring the best in Anglican liturgy and music. Readings are taken from the SPARK bible for easier understanding by children. While we welcome ALL children at this service (even the noisier ones - for they, too, are full of the Holy Spirit!), nursery is available if desired. Service ends around 9:45, with Sunday School classes starting at 10:00.

SUNDAY  11:15 a.m.
HOLY EUCHARIST (WITH CHOIR)

A traditional service — similar to the 8:00, but with music.  Refreshments follow in Gilchrist Hall. Nursery is available until the end of this service.

WEDNESDAY 10:30am
HOLY EUCHARIST, RITE I (WITH HEALING PRAYER)

A traditional service without music, for our Wednesday worshipers! Worship concludes around 11:00. A Bible Study starts immediately following for those who are interested in continuing the fellowship and study of God's Holy Word. Nursery care is not available during this service.

EVENSONG

Offered occasionally from September through May by the choirs of St. Andrew's or other guest ensembles.
